1 About me
I am a software developer and software architect, and I place particular emphasis on quality and maintainability. I enjoy developing solutions creatively, but always pragmatically: evaluating alternative approaches, openly weighing trade-offs, and implementing what works best under real-world conditions.
My focus is on Java (Spring Boot, JEE, JPA/Hibernate) and TypeScript (NestJS). I build web services and platforms – mostly as microservices, but also as clearly structured monoliths when needed – in cloud and on-premises environments. I ensure quality through clean architecture, testing, good interfaces, observability, and a conscious focus on performance and security.
Teamwork is important to me: Clear communication and transparent decisions lead to robust solutions – especially in demanding domains such as eGovernment, eHealth, Banking, Automotive, IoT and Railway.

2 What this page is and what it is not
This page is my public notebook. Here I collect thoughts, ideas, and my approach – as a reference for myself, to practice skills for my job, and as inspiration for anyone interested in my way of thinking or facing similar challenges.
Many contributions are created retrospectively as a record of memories after implementation and are therefore not necessarily complete.
